i'm thinking of downsizing from a 388 to the 238. the 388 is way too big and takes up too much room, i'm hoping the 238 plus a rack mixer will be a lot more consolidated of a setup, should sound pretty close too from the recordings i've heard of the 238.

any suggestions on a rack mixer?

I have 3 Brand New unused reels of RMG 911 Metal Reel Box 1/4" x 2500 ft 10.5". Just got them from full compass and they are unused and unopened. I'm not going to be using my mixdown machine anymore so your gain and my loss.

i'm a professional bassist, i have one bass that i use on everything, a 1969 fender jazz. i have it insured (musicpro) but i have flown all over the world, us, canada with it and have played venues big and small. if it's your favorite why use something else? just insure it and then if it ever breaks...

sounds great man, very black keys. i love my 388 as well.

i used to use a pair of sennheiser hd280, but i didn't like the bass response. i now use a pair of vintage 70's pioneer monitor 10 headphones, they are great! nice even response across the spectrum, great for mixing
