attenuator vs Master Volume on a modded Fender Twin
yo I have a 70s fender twin that has been modded out....the vibrato channel has been blackfaced and the normal channel has a "marshall mod" to it (not sure what exactly that means, but thats what the guy who sold it to me called it and the gain sounds sweet). When he did the modding he unhooked it f...

One of my main desires for getting a second board is to do a recording session putting up a bunch of drum mics, running them thru the 6 track and being...

yo so I bought my first preamp today, cause i am going on vacation and i needed something with phantom power so i could use a nice mic on a 4 track. the dude at the store explained to me that i should go Mic --> preamp with an XLR cable, and then go from the preamp ----> 4 track with an XLR -> 1/4" ...

I place it kinda over the top of where the drummer sits, with the figure 8 pointing left and right, essentially. The mic picks up the pieces of the kit real nice, but it def so...

thanks ill give it a shot. I guess the kicker is that I was hoping to run the compressor thru one of the auxs and the reverb thru the other so I could get independent levels for each, and then bounce with that. Without aux returns this is impossible with my board, and what I need to do is chain the ...
