Re: Free iPod deal isn't a scam - I have personal proof!

Let's see - the deals I signed up for were Blockbuster and for a car quote. The deals change pretty regularly, but you almost always see the Blockbuster deal, AOL, credit card offers, car quotes, book clubs, etc. Even if you get hooked for a month the most you will end up spending is $40 - $60. A va...

Nothing weird at all - we used a yahoo email address so all the spam goes there. No phone calls or anything like that.

Re: CD Baby are fuck moms dick heads

It's not CD Baby - iTunes can take quite awhile to get stuff up on their site. FWIW CD Baby has ALWAYS been true to their word and been up front on everything. I'm a bit shocked that you would post a message with that wording. CD Baby is a godsend for the indie musician. We had the same problem - CD...

Are you looking for the AudioDesk software?

Hell, I think I've got a couple copies sitting around - if you want one, just tell me your address.

If you're using some other software, then changing the reg. isn't going to do much for you.

Yup, this is where a mastering engineer comes into play.

If you want a 'do it yourself' approach, the Waves L1 works pretty well...

Re: CA Universities were FREE in the 60's?

Ok, get this - at a rate of $35k per year, the 80 Billion dollar 'supplement' for the war in Iraq that was just requested would pay the tuition for 2,285,714 students. Multiply that by 5 for an in-state university charging $7000 per year. As of 1999 there were 15 million students enrolled in college...

Re: trade me.

If you paid $250 for an Audigy with interface, you got RIPPED! Ebay prices (the high end): Dr. Sample - $200 Audigy 2zs - $125 PMC-05II - $200 I wouldn't expect to get much more than $100 for that computer - you can get a 1.5ghz plain box pc for $300 new. So you can see where people may be scoffing ...

Re: G4/G5 noise.

My G5 is whisper quiet as well - sometimes, under heavy processor load, the fans will spin up a bit, but nothing near what my G4 would do. Granted - if you put a cd/dvd in, the drive noise from that is quite a bit louder, but why the hell would you have a cd or dvd in the drive when you're working on...

Re: How do you hook up outboard Equipment to Digi 002?

Ah hell -scratch that. Just route the send on any channel directly to the Lexicon, then create an Aux Input track with it's input set to the inputs you've connected the outputs of the Lexicon to. The first method I gave allows you to chain other FX after the Lexicon, but you may not necessarily want...
