I have one! Most fun ive had in a long time!! Seriously inspiring and fun instrument. Plus the portability and long battery time is a big plus.

Ill se what I have time to do!

Dont have any finished mixes to run thru it right now, so youll have to do with a roughmix. The effect should be apparent anyway :)

I could run some stuff through mine, just need to wire up the proper cables for the insert on my a&h zed r16 mixer first.

Anything in particular youd like to hear processed?

I dont know if it sounds like a tapemachine or not, but i love it!

Took me about 6-7 hrs from start to finish to assemble.

I can totally recommend this product, sounds lovely!

Tune low, use big sticks. And most important: play the drum in the way you want to portray. If possible use a deep drum (for shits and giggles why not even try a floor tom tuned higher than usual, with a snare mat taped to the bottom head?)

(edit: apparently I cant call it that, because someone in the band renamed to "bow and arrow") Please let me know what you think! www.mysp...

Thanks for the criticism!

JWL, youre not the first to think that about the arrangement. We kinda wanted to make it a bit harder for the listener on purpose. I still havent decided myself if thats a good thing or not.

Atleast we are aware of it.

Keep it coming!

My band is not dead!!

My band, even though the name of the band is "If they ask, tell them were dead", has suprisingly enough managed to record and make a roughmix of a song. Which must mean that were very much alive. This is a big deal for me, as I generally dont get anything done at all concerning my own music. I just ...

Since there is some discussion about older jbl speakers... I have a pair of the smaller jbl 4406 monitors that i modified with charge coupled crossovers that sound absolutely great. Much better than anything in the budget range of newer speakers i have heard (as good as alot of more higher end syste...
