sweet harmony traveling revue

I went to this concert last Saturday in Denver. Fucking brilliant show. Can't get much of a better line-up. Emmylou Harris, Gilliian Welch, David Rawlings, Buddy Miller, Patty Griffin. I drove 8 hours to see this concert and was worth every minute of driving. I mostly went to see Gillian Welch and R...

Re: Fantasy Football Addicts

I will also miss the live draft but have my players pre-ranked so I'm ready to rock. I told a friend of mine about the league and he sounded interested so hopefully he'll register soon. What's everybody's team names here. I checked em out briefly but didn't recognize anything. I'm obviously "whatcha...

Re: The NFL (American Football)

sports=bad music=good. the end. Bullshit. sports=good music=better why? i don't understand sports... To just call all sports bad just because you don't understand it doesn't automatically make it bad. There's a lot in this world I don't understand that I'm glad exists. I'm just kinda sick of non-sp...

Re: The NFL (American Football)

sports=bad music=good. the end. Bullshit. sports=good music=better pro sports in general are bullshit and I can't stand most of that. It's not like it used to be where it was about the game. It's more of just a show anymore. The NBA used to be cool, but it's not even about basketball anymore. In ge...

digi002 rack not starting up right

My 002 isn't starting up. It won't go thru the normal sequence of blinking lights and then powering up. The only thing that happens is the mute light comes on like it is supposed to but the 44.1 and 48k lights and midi lights aren't blinking like normal. They sometimes do it but then eventually stop...

Re: Xiu Xiu

Man I love you for posting this. I just heard Xiu Xiu for the first time last week and didn't know how it was spelled so I was having a hard time finding any info on it. I'm not even sure of the name of the song I heard but it rocked and now I can check it out.

Re: looking for a Belle and Sebastian song

Your Cover's Blown. Yes! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Man that was driving me crazy that I couldn't remember the name of that. That song rocks. I can't believe that is B and S. Sounds nothing like anything else they've done and it kicks ass.

looking for a Belle and Sebastian song

There is this Belle and Sebastian song I've heard a couple times this week that I can't seem to find anywhere. It starts out with a guy and girl talking on a phone or something like that. It is kinda funky in a Junior Seniorish kinda way. Very different from any other B and S I've ever heard. I thou...

Re: Gillian Welch

Yup. I've got that episode recorded on my DVR cable box. I've watched it prolly a couple dozen times. I watched it both times it was on last night too. I love these two performing together. Revelator is such a beautiful song. One of my favorites.

Re: The Next Tape Op Cover Album Project

Someone mentioned Neil Young After The Goldrush. That would be cool. Or Harvest or Rust Never Sleeps. I already have a cover of My My, Hey Hey if anyone likes the idea of doing Rust. I missed out on the Abby Road thing. Are these songs available somewhere that I can listen to them or get a copy from...

Re: has anyone seen "That One Guy"

When the show started I saw this boot sittin on top of his racks and was wondering what the hell it was for. About 5 songs into his setlist he picked it up and there was a freakin instrument cable running out of the back of the heel. He then proceeded to put the boot under his arm and started playin...
