Re: FS: Yamaha PM1000 Dual Mic Preamp Rack

I'm not in the market for more preamps right now. Just a note to say that Nate's work is immaculate and fantastic. Somebody should jump on these.

Very cool Kickstarter project: The TANK

Similar to the silophone that was covered here years ago.

F@ckin New York

It's a long story, but I left my 1200 sq ft of free space in Greenpoint back in 2000. Now it's getting to the point where nobody but the richest can afford to be there and that's a shame. All hail the almighty dollar! http://www.nytimes.com/2015/10/11/nyregion/a-beloved-recording-studio-may-be-price...

Understood, but is it from a specific document or book (of which there might be copies)?

Not on the mix buss, but Larry talked about using a Behringer crossover to create multiband compression (and EQ) and reviewed it back in issue #34: http://tapeop.com/reviews/gear/34/super ... crossover/

PAVI is the Pacific Audio Visual Institute and I assume that this video was prepared for one of their classes. Seems like the "#6" he's referring to is from the "sheet" that goes along with the video in the classroom. (Ex. at 3:36 he mentions "...#3 on your sheet."
