thanks, there does seem to be far more 2 channel interfaces than single. Cost is a factor for me. I wanted to pay less than $500 for an interface, and about $600-$700 on a tube(preferably) mic pre. If I could find an interface that could do both those duties well(so I wouldn't have to buy a nice pre...

Best single channel audio interface question
I am looking to upgrade my current setup, which is an older mbox. All of my recording is multi-tracked acoustic guitar and vocals, and i prefer the mono sound on my acoustic guitar, so I just need one channel. I also plan to buy a nicer($500+) standalone mic preamp, so I guess I'm just looking for g...
