Funny I have just retrieved from my vaults two Vermona e2010 (east german inductor/discrete graphic eqs) which sound beautiful, but have to restore them cause the faders look inside like the units have spent some time under a barbers chair :? Looking at it again your case looks majorly cool, like so...

This was 1982 folks. The only part I found back then that worked as a compander chip was the NE570. I was 9 then. :P Thanks for the answer though. I also used that part in 1988 when I designed a PWM subcode audio noise reduction scheme for Hasbro video games. I got about a 90 db s/n from using the ...

A low noise opamp was used as the reverb recovery preamp. I made a one knob compressor/expander circuit that had no effect 1/2 way. Turned left it kicked in the 1/2 expander shortening the reverb time. Turn it right and the 2/1 compressor kicked in lengthening the reverb time. It did about 1/2 seco...

Like! This is a colourful discussion and I?m all ears! As Chris Harris said, ADC is what I need mainly. It was a misspelling rather than a misconception  I know my analogue stuff, but with digital I?m at a loss, e.g. some say with converters go for the best specs, others say, well, 16 bit/44 k...

Multi channel DAC for modest price?
Hi everybody I?m looking for a decent min. 8 channels DAC for simultaneously homerecording as many outputs of my mixer (used with modular synthesizer) and looking for good quality audio. No problem, BUT: I can only afford (absolut max.) like 2000$... I?m using OS 10.6 on IMac 10,1 with Logic 9.1.5 L...

Wow.
Totally in awe.
I?m not going to record vibraphone and I?m just a homerecording guy with shitty gear, but always looking for brainfood and getting it delivered here for free.
Thanks a lot. Tastes very good!

Hello, Purple is tied to velvet, because it is a colour, that originally was extracted from some very rare snail or something and kings used to colour their velvet coats with it, it?s a ?royal? colour. When I was studying illustration, I learned a lot about the psychology of colour, which is mostly ...

Hello everybody! Nice to be here...
For in-depth description of m.s. also check out this site by Rob Hordijk

Although it focuses on the G2, it is also valuable for analog synthesis and even
for new circuit design ideas (at least for me personally).
Cheers!
