Re: Standalone portastudios

in addition to tascam, BOSS makes a model that Tame Impala used for their first couple of records, the dude loves the preamps overload on it apparently (read an article in tapeop maybe? i forget). only issue with the "all in one" is if something goes wrong your whole studio goes down for repairs or...

Standalone portastudios

I'm sure someone here can help me out. I've been stuck in DAW world for many years and thought I needed to break out of my usual formula by looking into the world of the portastudio. I would like to know if any of you know of, or use a completely stand alone multitrack recorder that I can track and ...

After two days of fiddling around with my computer they were not able to figure out why Magnetic II would not work. They did figure out, however, that Magnetic I would work. It loaded smoothly and easily and I had ...

I have been unable to even download the files properly-certainly has not been listed within studio one. I have spent much of the time since Friday until yesterday morning in conversation with Nomad Factory support staff (who, after a slow start have been great). They cannot work out why the files wo...

new to the world of plug-ins

Frustration has led me to ask this question of what I know to be a wide and knowledgeable community: I recently upgraded from Presonus Studio One artist to the Producer version so I could enter the wonderful (?) world of plug-ins. So I purchased Nomad Factory Magnetic II as my first dip into the poo...

I've been using Studio One Artist for a couple of years and just decided to upgrade. I got Studio One 2.5 Producer this weekend so I could enter into the world of plug-ins...that's where my troubles began (but that's for a different thread) I have been very happy with Studio One since day one, I fin...
