Re: Difference between e609 'flat' and e609 'silver'?

i emailed sennheiser about the difference and the lady responded back with some lame one liner response which was actually kinda strange. She said: the silver 609 sounds more like the original 409 than does the black faced 609. So what the hell does the black face, 200+ dollar mic sound like?

Re: Opinions on UAD-1 cards?

ok, so would it be fair to say that you could complete an entire 32 track (24 bit, 44.1) rock mix with the UAD plugs if you purchased two UAD dsp cards? Also, I am judging from previous posts that the UAD ships with a delay compensation plug in that you can just slap on any track without a UAD plug ...

Re: Opinions on UAD-1 cards?

Hi there UAD users. I have been thinking of getting the UAD studio pak, it seems like a great value! My only concern is the massive hit the DSP card seems to take when multiple plugins or put to use. On UADs website it gives a list of how many instances of each plug you can run on a single DSP card ...

Re: SansAmp Classic etc.

ive used both pod and and sans amp products and i would recommend the sans amp, hands down....a better unit. Definately get the classic and not the GT2 if you are into more clean and overdriven sounds rather than full blown distortion. You can use the sans amp for other applications aswell (snare!)

cabling?

ok so ive been hearing so many people say how much of a difference jerking out all their old XLRs, TRSs etc and putting in nice pro grade monster cabing made in the quality of their overall sound and product....so logic suggests that doing this would certainly produce audilbe differences in sound bu...
