If I could write good songs would I be posting about gear? Nah, I'd be making it happen with what is more than a capable set of tools. Good point. I miss my 424. That's when I was killing it! We might be a little bit goofy now!

Like I mentioned, my compulsion to treat myself is not well grounded. A ribbon mic sounds kind of like a Christmas toy, which is the way I'm leaning!
