tim- i've got an M-1 (2 channels with the output transformers, 2 channels without). I've never used the twin servo preamp however. I live about 3 minutes away from john hardy. i was thinking about having a button put on my home security system just in case i ever have an M-1 emergency. eric@blam by ...

here's some chicago suggestions- see a show at the fireside and then eat at irazu (on milwaukee and oakley) or vice versa. great indie/punk at the fireside and irazu has some great costa rican food. both are a hop skip and jump from wicker park, and pretty easy to get to via the blue line. see a sho...

Hey .... Quick Pro Tools question. I've been doing some work at a studio with a TDM ProTools HD 192 setup. When I hit record, i end up sitting there for 1-2 minutes before protools will start recording. I can put it in quickpunch mode and then it will work fine, but i'd rather not have to do that. a...

Yeah, What's the deal with ProTools and OMF. Why do they have to make it so god damn hard. We recently sent an OMF file created in Nuendo to a ProTools studio and of course they couldn't open it. We ended up doing a ton of exporting to make it work. So tell me DIGIDESIGN, where's the love....eh? eri...
