Any tips for recording an accomplished player that needs her stage moves to get the performance.

Great studio instincts on congas, etc. and, to be fair, the over-the-head to the hip strikes is part of the sound, rhythm, and energy.

Level and timbre are a battle, however.

Thanks guys, I was more concerned with reassurance that I hadn't missed anything than worry about submitting a technically flawed work. BTW - I haven't seen the procedure for certification. Must you submit a potential release for evaluation, jing up with a fee, or both. Any info would be appreciated...
