I emailed soundcraft directly a while back. They responded quickly with the schematics for my 1624. They're from the same era, so they should have them for the 400B too.

If you have a mixing board, I would go from your interface to the mixer so you have volume control. If you're going straight from the outputs on your interface, you'd have to adjust the volume of your monitors on the monitors themselves or with the master fader in Cubase.
