Re: how rediculously far have your DIY leanings gone?!
I think DIY gear is the most rewarding -you actually build your own sound. That said, it's together, and sounds disgusting (perfect!), just like the Level Loc, but without the noise and '9v' sound. Way to go Drew!

I've got a ditto, and it friggin kicks ass. One of the best tube DIs I've heard. I'm interested in the Brick, too, but I have to get a Hamptone first. Have to. Like, I'll get sick if I don't.

Yeah, I'll agree with the e609. I didn't hear the R84, but Dooley knows his shit, so it's probably pretty good.
What, no votes for the RODE "how I spent 1.2 million" mic?
That guy cracks me up. That's like Michaud's Mytek ads from 5 years ago that showed him walking around with a shotgun. Silly.

That is THE most rockin garage I have ever seen. Instruments, SPAM, dirt bikes, Pick Floyd, banana boxes, hazardous chemicals, and I think I saw an engine block hanging from the ceiling. Fuckin genius.

now it works. must have been a server fart.
Yup, that's the board. I like plasma meters - they're fun to look at.
I'll stick with my original 'ehhh' on sound. Kind of sort of reminded me of an Amex Einstein. Ehhh.
