I'm using logic 8 and when I bounce down a tune to 16 bit AIFF and then drag it into a burn folder the resulting cd will not play in a cd player. The only way I can get a playable cd is if I first drag the file into itunes and then burn a cd from a window in itunes. Anyone know why ?

thanks- I tried re-importing the files into another project and it went away. But still would like to know what caused it so I can avoid it in the future.

I recorded 3 tracks in logic, listened back and they all sounded fine. I started mixing and to my horror heard a nasty burst of noise about a half second long. I've tried this using my morley A/B box, and when I use the a OR b alone the amps sound normal but when I hit the a AND b switch I lose a lot of signal from the guitar and both amps get significantly quieter. Is there a cheap solution for this ?

I'm a rookie using Logic 8. I recorded a friend and she played 3 songs, all within a single Logic project. I mixed the songs and then wanted to put them all as separate tracks on one cd for her. But when I use bounce and burn it will only let me burn one tune (highlighted section) out of the project...

I had an XLR plug soldered onto this and I am pleased to announce that it now WORKS PERFECTLY and sounds freaking amazing. Hayull Yayuss !

Yeah, I took the windscreen off and the ribbon is in there and looks to be in pretty good shape as far as I can tell. The true test is going to be listening to it of course. Crossing my fingers and hoping all it needs is an xlr plug.

ok- I have used the audiofire "console" (software) to successfully mute the input. But then when I go back in to the logic window to try and record I can't hear the input at all. Arm the track: nothing , press input monitoring: nothing.
