Re: DIY Mic Booster (Cloudlifter style)?
You can't clone the circuit and sell it without getting sued . That's not technically correct. You can clone the circuit and sell it all day without getting sued. BUT if you sell it as "Cloudlifter" or even list as a Cloudlifter clone you're using their trademark and can be sued. Electronic compone...

Re: DI bass and guitar
FYI, I made a few of these recently. Are they anything special? No, emphatically not, but they get the job done and sound nice in the process. Just a simple transformer-coupled passive DI: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50668868837_95f2f7909a.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50703035152_...

Re: Overdrive pedals educate me
My two cents would be that if I were playing an AC15 and wanted a more high gain sound i'd boost the front end with a rangemaster, because that's just my favorite sound in general and with an AC15 i'd likely be able to run it pretty full bore in a band setting and thus get that cranked amp thing go...

On the "Treble Booster..." front, The Balls Effects "Balls Deluxe" is one of the finest feedback generator pedals that I have owned. Will also get you a lot of "Classic Coke" treble booster sounds. Cannot say enough good things about that pedal. https://ballseffects.com/distortion/balls-deluxe/ Som...
