Re: Should I Render Soft Synths?

Sweet thanks. I used to do that with OS9 but now with rewire support in PT6.4 I was starting to wonder if I should just leave it. Definitely the timing issues are the real deal breaker on that method though. Thanks again folks. Love this board.

Re: Should I Render Soft Synths?

yeah that is a good idea. mostly I'm just wondering if there is a "sound" quality issue. Is it going to sound better if I render it?

Re: Print a Mix to 1/4 inch??

Cool thanks for the input. Yeah, I don't know if our mastering place can take 1/4 inch. I'm just wanting to get the very best for these mixes and thought I'd try something different than just bouncing down in the box to .wavs.

Print a Mix to 1/4 inch??

Hey there, I'm in the midst of recording an electronic/dance record. In about 3 weeks we'll be mixing and then sending out to professional for the mastering. Has anyone ever printed a mix from Protools 001 out to a 1/4 inch tape machine? What were your results, comments, general consensus? Thanks!!!1
