I think 522s are great because they are totally tweaked and seem to pass the highs through and kill just about everything else, so acoustic guitars and cymbals and stuff are about the only thing that can get on the other side of it. Got an old Effectron II but the delay channel is exceptionally noisy and scratchy, part of the charm, or just old age on some horrible component I have no idea how to fix?
