Soundcraft ghost external TB Mic input?

Does anybody know if the ghost has an external TB mic input? I received a call from a studio looking to purchase one of my TB switches, and I want to make sure he gets set up properly. The other thing I'd like to know is if the TB button is latching or momentary, ideally he would latch the switch on...

I built a passive summing box that had output transformers. For some reason the device had a buzz, so I put it away and haven't fixed it yet.

At this point, you've already had her into your studio twice. I'd say you have fulfilled your favor to your friend. Instead of scheduling another session, this is what I'd do: print a .wav of her vocal and guitar or whatever she recorded as a scratch, note the tempo of the song, put the files on a d...

If you can get access to the LED, first I would check for dc on the anode leg (round side) of the LED. if there is around 5vdc, or so, when the pedal is on, then you just have to replace the LED. Just make sure to put the new LED in place with the flat side in the same orientation as the old one.

I made one that switches between speakers after the power amp. It is very basic, but also slick, just a small toggle switch and LED on my desk, the actual switching takes place by relays near the amplifier. I can draw it out for you if you wish.

The 1/4" "monitor" input on the ART mymonitor is a stereo 1/4" input. So, if you plug a balanced TRS into it, audio will only come out of the Left earpiece. Try plugging your monitor mix into the mic input with an XLR cable, this should feed a mono signal to both ears, although you may have to adjus...

the speakers are on two dedicated circuits, not sharing with any motorized things. I will try the other steps also, it's a 45 min. drive to this place, so I can't run down and try one thing at a time! I have to have a whole checklist ready to go! thank you all so much for your suggestions.

Thank you for your input, I'll try your suggestions. The outlets are on a different power feed and panel completely, separate from the lights. Maybe the electricians connected to two panels accidentally in some way. There are no CFLs in the place, just incandescent lamps.

Nightmare buzz scenario in powered speaker installation

Hey folks, Here is another "buzz" topic. This one is perplexing to me and so I am reaching out to you for input. Here is a drawing of the plan. Setup: 3 powered Behringer (be ringin') speakers spread about 120' throughout a restaurant / bar. Problem: terrible hf buzz. The buzz is worse when: 1. one ...

Canadian version of BMI or ASCAP

Hi, has anyone had any experience selecting from Canadian licensing and royalty collection agencies?
I have been checking out SOCAN, as one of our band members is Canadian, and he can't join BMI.
Is there another agency to check out?
Thank you.

I love the Studio Projects C3 (if you can find one, as they're discontinued. I got mine from Doug at Soundpure), or the C1 (cardioid only). I can't get enough of it, and it works well on everything. Well worth the dough, $249.
