Pretty sure I can make it, say a 75% chance. Would love to look over those plans, Allen! I'd be happy to make the order, again -- hopefully everything can be done via Mouser.

I might as well continue this thread as a response to my thread http://messageboard.tapeop.com/viewtopic.php?t=63076&highlight= ... really, really like what Bandcamp does. I use CD Baby and have for years. They seem to offer a higher rate for digital stuff than their competitors and there are so man...

Digital Distribution methods

I'm quite familiar with getting stuff on iTunes and have done so with CD BABY for the past 5 years -- it's great and they seem to have the highest rate of return for digital stuff. However, I've come to the realization that a larger format must also be available. The next release of my bands stuff w...

Count me in, definitely. My soldering skills need some more work but I'm game. I think I can still price all this out via Mouser and do a bulk order of some kind? Let's plan to go over this at the next beer night, WELL before we get too many drinks in us!

That's funny, I still use it on almost everything especially 2-bus. Have done so for years. I do think it was given a bad name to begin with, as it's neither very "vintage" in sound or "warming" (whatever that means). And I agree that things can get ugly the heavier it's cranked -- one of my favorit...

"Well," he says. "Let me show you Kurt Cobain's bedroom."

I just couldn't bring myself to read anything after that. Jesus, give it a rest. And RIP.

Patrick -- (I'm 99.9% certain it's you?) I found a bunch of PCI cards that would work well for you, including old RAID cards and etc. Forgot to mention that Apple can be your friend via this page: www.apple.com/support Somewhere on there is a place where you can enter serial numbers which should all...

New Tulsa Drone mix for your judgement

Going bonkers mixing this by myself, but most of the next record is finished. Just a few mixes to go and one actual song to finish recording but hoping to wrap up soon... This track is called "powerhouse" and will be on the next CD/iTunes thing "Kill Rites". Let me know what you think of it and if a...

Re: ADT Automatic double tracking

A plug I really like for complex tape-like pitch modulation is "Wow & Flutter", and the Bionic and Analogic delays are really great too: http://www.interruptor.ch/vst_overview.shtml pretty much everything on that page is awesome. Agreed, never before seen these but I'm really digging the Poor Plate...

My space is in the basement of the Garber's Bldg. at 2210 East Franklin St. but the entrance is under an awning facing Main Street (opposite side from Franklin). You can park in the lot that is on the Main St. side as well -- you'll likely see my car, a beautiful 1989 peeling white Dodge Aires K car...

Hey gang -- yes we did finish our RPM challenge CD but as with Dave I'm not quite finished mixing it all. Going to try and make an 'official' release for Mid-April, I'm hoping. 12 songs!! I'd be happy to host this weekend if everybody is game. I mentioned in another thread that I'll likely be moving...
