I've recently been running some mixes out of my mixer thru a pair of 1272's before I go back into my DAW. It seems to give the mix alot more depth and a nice bump in the low end.

Yeah, that Comets record kicks ass, so does Death from Above 1979, which is my current favorite. They are playing Rothko's on Dec. 4th, which should be interesting. The guitar player from Comets also has some interesting solo stuff called Six Organs of Admittance which I am positive I spelled wrong....

Just picked up a 610. Really focused on bass, and breaks up nice up top on guitar. The DI kicks seriously kicks ass and I second that it does a good jod fattnin up keyboards. Not that easy to get a pristine signal though, you do hear the tube graininess pretty much at all settings. Very colored, but...
