Seattle rehearsal space?

anyone have a lead on a cheap space on or near capitol hill? i've rented at the chop house and crybaby, but they always seem way overpriced. i've got a new group of peeps together that need a space for around 300. do they still exist anywhere?

The twilight exit might be cool but isn't that place getting torn down soon? I was over there last weekend and saw a big notice of proposed land action sign on the side of it.
then we best get on it!

I'm in ... and might I suggest the Hideout? or the Twilight Exit?

although, I'm definitely not likely to drive out to Spokane without a big carrot dangling in front of me.

Electronics wizards, help me fix my preamp?

so at some point my Presonus Eureka began acting weird. when i plug into the DI, it distorts quickly as i turn up the gain, then cuts out completely before getting halfway up the dial. when going through a mic, it intermittently does this really strange sound, like waves crashing. i can't seem to ge...

you oughta know that new skin seems to slow down recovery. when you don't need it on to play, peel it all off, clean it, hit it with neosporin and slap a bandaid on it. new skin works as a barrier/sealer, but doesn't let the wound breathe ... i should also mention, in digression, my favorite sneaky ...

yeah, i don't hear the :17, but i do definitely hear the :20 on weird fishes and the 1:39 on all i need. that is some hot mastering, but it sounds a LOT like a pro tools edit that didn't get a cross fade. thanks for pointing that out. now i'm gonna hear it every time. :? still, i love this record. f...

new skin is basically anti-septic super glue. i've used both ... on camping trips, and at work as a cook and bartender. new skin is badass. whether it will work for a fretting finger totally depends on how bad the cut is. if you're having a hard time stopping the bleeding, you might just have to sim...
