I having trouble when exporting a movie from protools, burning it, and trying to load it onto my PC. It shows up fine on my Mac but my PC does not see it. Any help?

I really need some help maximizing my Le Sytem. I keep maxing out my system usage with plug-ins. I running in OS9 with 768 of ram. I've been mesing around allocating more memory to ProTools and the DAE but neither has really helped me out. I do what I can with summing and such but I need more power....

What do you guys know about the V3 console?

Has anyone changed the internal link on a wz16:2 inorder to have the direct outs post-fader? I don't have the service manual. Or do you know where to veiw a service manual online (not on A&H website)?

I have wash on my high hat recording and I know I should have used different hats now ......however I have this wash and was wondering if there is any eq work that will reduce it ?

I'm just looking at some of these mega studios wondering "how do they get the funding?" Is it that they have been collecting the gear over time and have investers or what? Anyone working at one, or who ownes one, of the big dog studios give me a little insight?

In our studio we use nothing but firewire. I've had no problems.

I would say the best thing to start with is a good mic pre. The converters are crap also but with good outboard I've gotten some great sound out of an 001,
