Much like noeqplease says, you could do it yourself. Some tutorials are linked here:

and here

I keep contemplating doing this myself.

A lot of the film and audio content at the Internet Archive is either public domain or has a Creative Commons license, which encourages re-use (though check the individual license: you may need to give credit; that's easy to do, but also easy to overlook). Some freebies I use a lot are MDA's Looplex, Ring Mod, and Dub Delay: http://mda.smartelectronix.com/ (Looplex isn't listed there, and I'm not sure if it's in the package for download, but the developer has ported it to x86, and will send it to you if you email him--that's how I got the x86 Looplex....

if you'd like we could have a discussion about REAL reasons not to master your own records. like mastering in the same room/same speakers as it was mixed in...not having any kind of the right perspective on the mixes...less than stellar acoustics/converters/monitors/experience... All those...and al...

a 45-second reverb tail. Holy Mother. i freak out over the 2 second reverb in the stairwells here at work. 45 seconds is hard to even imagine. AND they let people record there? *books flight immediately* They do indeed, although I'm pretty sure you have to schedule with them--I can't see them doing...

Maurice--that LaMonte Young house sounds intriguing. I've been thinking lately about tailoring music for specific spaces and was wondering if anybody had done anything like that before. The season runs from late September to late June of the next year, so if you're in NYC on any Thursday or Saturda...

There are four huge speakers in the room, and what's coming out of them is a precisely-calculated set of sine waves (which frequencies and how many depends on which piece is going on at the time--when I was there, it was 32 frequencies). It's p...

This isn't just a recent phenomenon. There's a story about Mingus playing some NYC club, where the audience wouldn't shut up, so he had the band play four bars, then rest for four bars so the audience could "solo." When that didn't get them to pay attention, he had the band order their dinners from ...
