I think the key may be compressing the highs with a multi-band compressor instead of a straight up roll off.

Feedback would be appreciated

This is the first song that has been mixed for my band's upcoming record. I would love any feedback anyone may have.

"I go astray"- Jason Falkner.

The beauty is in the way he makes it back to the chorus. The melody at the end of that bridge "...in the form of an apology..." into the chorus is genius.

I use the PSP MasterComp on the master buss. However, I make sure that the gain reduction is very minimal. If it seems that I need more gain reduction, then something is wrong with my mix. I use it as an enhancer, not to fix problems.

I'm getting the desired results by putting everything pre-fader. I was already sending varied amounts of reverb per track to the reverb, but I was negating that through the position of the fader.

thanks again.

Am I doing this right? Reverb and Delay

The way I do things is set up a convolution IR in Waves IR-1 and varying amounts of everything to it. I use delay as an effect generally. a During mastering I add a miniscule amount of that same IR to "glue" it together. Things end up sounding good, but not great. Instead of each instrument being so...
