Yeah. The $250 was basically for a factory recondition. They fix anything that is broken and retest the unit so it is functioning the same as when it was first purchased (new). If you read the quote above it says they will determine if the repair will fall under the flat rate or if it is more extens...

I emailed orban 3 years ago and they refurb any of their old gear. they will completely test and recondition your unit. when i asked it was $250 which seemed like a good deal if you can't find out what is wrong on your own. for a almost new analog piece, that seemed fair. i have 2 424a's and i think...

Yes: don't. The fees are outrageous. For something that big. Wait 3 days for a money order.Gwerd wrote:Also, any opinions on using Paypal for more expensive items?

Re: Common Orban 111b Reverb problems? // bad parts?
Congrats on the Orban Dual Reverberation, Spiral-Dude! I just picked one of these up myself, and my right channel's a bit hinky as well. It works, but it sounds like the springs are caught on something. Channel A is AOK; sounds very AM radio/70s reggae/dub. I really like the EQ and limiter on this ...

Just curious how you feel about your tapcos now that you've had them for a little longer. Anyone else have any opinions on the Tapcos?

Common Orban 111b Reverb problems? // bad parts?
So i got an orban reverb on ebay and i was excited because the seller said it was working. The right channel is not working ... very very weak reverb signal. The left channel works fine though. Before i spend hours poking around blindly with a scope, i was wondering if anyone knew of any common part...

JL Cooper may fill the HD24 remote void ... need your vote
People have been complaining on the HD24 yahoo group about Alesis' lack of a really professional, useable remote for the HD24. The Director has been coming out "at the end of the year" for like, three years now? Anyhow, somone contacted JL Cooper (a maker of many many fine control surfaces) and they...
