Just out of curiosity, what's involved in loading the presets back in? Is it a simple reset and then they're loaded, or do you have to actually have a midi file or something to load them back on?

I don't know, it says they have the manual. I would say it's at least 50/50 that they tried to do a factory reset.

That's a good deal on the twintrack.

I'd have to go with the Triton too, it does a lot, and can be useful for a wide range of sounds. Though the ms2000 and jp8000 are great for analog sound.

I agree, these shine on drums, bass, guitar, and other instruments, and in that order. The only thing I haven't absolutely loved them on is vocals. I've had some decent results on vocals, but at the end of the day there are a lot of nice tube mic pres to choose from that really work better on vocals.
