Re: PROTOOLS LE To HD

well if you really wanna go HD and have the $ to do so then go for it. But if it was me, I would buy nice pres, mics, compressors and then I would make that the last step. But I guess it depends on what you are doing.

Re: Studio monitors buying advice?

i agree the tr-5s are ok monitors but with only a 5 inch speaker the bass response is not as good but if you learn how they translate it should be fine.

Re: It comes down to these two THIS WEEK!

i disagree. ive used my digi002R and its worked fine. hasnt crashed once or bugged out at all. 32 tracks is all you can voice but i think its up to like 128 so you could submix if you really needed more.

Re: Throwing in the towel?

i woudnt throw in the towel. just build up your OWN studio and dont worry about working for someone elses. build up a list of clients that are respectable and sound good . develop your own sound and people will come to your for it if you have something.

Re: Classic marshall sounds (for recording)

im not really big on 4x12's unless youve got some good isolation. id rather a 2x12, the bluesbreaker combo that was stated earlier is awesome but you would have to crank it to get some breakup.
