Lost dongle help

Well smooth guy me rearranged his office/recording area and lost the dongle for my logic pro 7! How about some suggestions. 1. Upgrade to 8 2. Switch over to another software? I am just a hobbyist recorder who has a MH 2882 for his ADA and was curious what other software might be enjoyable to use. I...

Will,

Actually I am looking for just a lightpipe A/D. This way I can use perhaps a couple of hamptones and maybe two more different pres to give me some flavor. Do they make sure a piece of gear. Just trying to get the most use out of my (1) 2882 unit.

Lightpipe in to Metric Halo 2882

So here is the deal. I enjoy the stock pres on my 2882 but since I can get 8 more in on lightpipe I am wondering what what be the best gear to get pres(assorted flavors) into the lightpipe input without degrading the sound.

Thanks in advance,
Doug

I think it sounds great. Are there any effects on the track or is it the room mic giving it that sound?

Bret,

Enjoyed the song. I can't wait to hear it with you playing some real drums on it. That said the doggiebox drums sound pretty good!.

Take care,

I have been listening to em and really enjoy the vibe of the 4trk. i dig that kind of rolled of high end sound you have. Songwise It reminds of the psychedlic revival in LA back in the 80's which I enjoyed very much.

Take care,
DougOOO
