Re: stuff that seems like a blatant rip off

Re: Any leftys here??

i'm a lefty- i play guitar/drums as a right-handed person might. sometimes i mix with both hands. I am also visual artist and can paint almost equally with either hand. or foot. don't know of many famous left-handed musicians- i bet alot of them have had their fragile egos crushed by the "you...

Re: What Did You Work On Today? 3-24-04

i spent last night re-mixing instrumentals to use with vocal stems. it was efficient going, as the songs had been mixed several times about a year ago--- time gives alot of perspective and the mixes are less hesitant- i already new what would sounds needed attention. and i was taught a valuble "less...

Re: Bulk erase with handymag? Possible?

i don't know what the HAND DMAG claims, but i have used a bulk eraser-a hand-held Realistic--- - 1/2 in. reel, but i had limited success this first time through. i removed the sides, one at a time----BTW do this carefully, the screws are small. this yielded better results but it still took a couple ...

Re: this review is awesome

ok then, i retract the "boring and whiny" statement about punk.
i mean to say "usless and uninspired"
or "pathetic and inane"
OR "weak and emotionally retarded"

damn, i could make a decent living as an online reviewer!

Re: this review is awesome

dude- that shit writing is hilarious! alot of creative, unknown bands get that weird review that says "they got some good stuff going" then sum it up by say "if they could just get it together"...... oh well, you can thank your local university for turning out such compelling english major claptrap....

Re: Thin Lizzy in 1974

thin lizzy is bad ass, great mix of pop and rock- true "classic" rock, like TREX (classic riffs)..... though i heard Live and Dangerous was quite a recording debacle..retracked shit ALL over it- but it still retained the spirit it was conceived with. does anyone know that story--? BTW .... some cryb...

Re: afraid of commitment?

i like to print any effects in tracking that i am looking to hear in the final mix--- it makes mixing alot easier, less pressure basically. fixing it in the mix is always the worst situation. if its wack or twisted noise music who cares, but if you are looking for certain sounds, FIXIN IT LATER CAN ...
