If this is still happening... I'll go in for one (1) of the Lundahl's.

Thanks

Moosapotamus, how's stuff in your neck of the woods? Pretty quiet. I have a home studio and do projects for friends, friends of friends, my band and myself. I've thought about finding a space to open a dedicated project studio, but rental costs always put me off, too. $600 per month isn't bad at al...

The singer in my band has been asking me for (almost) exactly the same thing - an effect loop box for his vocal mic. Except, instead of just one effect/preamp, he wants to be able to use several different effects... distortion, phaser, ring modulator, etc... So, I started drawing up something that w...

Hi Jon, Thanks for the reply. I'm in Atkinson... small world. No. I don't have the space to hang 2' wide panels diagonally from the ceiling to the wall. But, instead of mounting them flush with the ceiling, I do have enough space to hang 4" thick panels with a 4" gap above them, with the long edge o...

Re: Installing Bass Traps - Not in the corners?

Then get them as close to the corners as you can. OK, if they hang parallel to the ceiling (instead of diagonally across the wall/ceiling corner) I might be able to fit them in up against the wall. I don't have the ~17" up there that would be needed to mount them diagonally. But, I probably do have...

Installing Bass Traps - Not in the corners?

I'm interested in putting some bass traps in my home studio. But, I don't really have room to mount them in the corners because I have some shelves and a couple of bookcases that are too close to all of the wall/wall and wall/ceiling corners. Walls and ceiling are all drywall. Would hanging a few 2'...

Thanks, inverseroom. I think it's interesting how emotional some people can be on this subject... what's yer DAW. But it makes sense. Anyone who has spent days pulling out their hair will agree... getting hardware and software to play nice together is no small feat. So when you finally do get it all...

I started with cakewalk on pro audio 9 and made it as far as sonar 4. I think the work flow and features in sonar are great. But, I finally stopped upgrading because it's always been painful for me, like breaking in a new pair of hiking boots over and over again, lots of blistered toes and raw ankle...

I have a ProOne and it was sitting idle on my shelf for a while. I thought, "I'm not using this very much so why not sell it?" So I pulled it down to check it out. Pretty much as soon as I fired it up and started tweaking it I said to myself, "Damn! I need to start using this as much as possible!" I...

FS: Avalon U5 - SOLD

I've got an Avalon U5 that's in great shape with the rack ears included, and it's just not seeing a lot of use. Here's pics... http://moosapotamus.net/forsale/u5front.gif http://moosapotamus.net/forsale/u5rear.gif Asking for $400 + $25 shipping in the continental USA. International shipping would be...
