saw this on hack a day. pretty cool, if i find the time i might try using plexi to build the capsule holder, might work. i don?t have access to a lathe though so i don't have much of a choice. i've always wanted to diy a condenser.

that sucks, not sure what else you could try, but getting the screw out of the threaded part is nearly vital. as for the peaking, just guesses but if its not the ghost then start making sure everything else is tight as opposed to flipping around. and then start to tighten up your tension springs or ...

not sure what you mean, are you talking about the ghost?

i've never used it but this looks like that way to go, read the simple manual for instructions.
