I moved in 2008, put my MCI in storage and just pulled it out for the first time yesterday. :)

Doing some research, I found a download for the full manual at mcirecording.com (B machine)

Because of this, it doesn't have the crappy DBX noise reduction units. Included is: Take up reel Full Remote in a roll...

I would look into getting cheap Behringer or Mackie mixers, mounting them on an Atlas stand and adding your D-Sub on the back instead of engineering a complete mixer. This is how we did it. http://local.conwayrecording.com/~benmook/personal/mixer.jpg 8 points on a patchbay feed an 8 channel distro a...

Computer systems are not the same as old analog gear and tape machines...a tape machine you can most likely keep getting serviced for as long as parts are available and you find it economical. With the Digi Mix systems most of that stuff there really isn't much you can do but keep replacing cards, ...

This one should be about right for your bi-polar supply. http://www.antekinc.com/AN-01xx.pdf Model AN-0112 and for your phantom supply: AN-0118 I have used several of there transformers, there good and inexpensive. ~B I don't think a 10VA torroid is going to have enough juice to power this. Why did...

What make/model is your console? You don't have the power transformer(s)? Yo might need to by two, one for the bi-polar and one for phantom. I bet it will be difficult to find the correct secondary windings. That being said, It might be easier/ more convenient to get a pair of off the shelf open fra...
