Seattle area stores

Ive got some less than desirable gear i want to get a couple bucks from. where in seattle buys alot of used gear(an old sonic maximizer, and an audio card in my case). thanks.

i would say no. your topaz is pretty sweet. i had the m50, like the 520 but smaller, then the topaz, and blah blah blah, now i have one of those fw1884 jobbers and miss the pre amps on the topaz. i would keep the topaz.

i have the actives. ill say this first, i have no expierence with more expensive monitors. i used to use the diamond 7.1's(the consumer bookshelf speaker). with the 8.2's i can hear the mids alot better, they were pretty much missing on the 7.1's. there is however something that seems not quite righ...

i think the tascam 1884 works for controlling PT. this will also give you 8 more mic pres, and the ability to record with other programs if you needed to.

ive done it with an at4050 and a studio projects c1. it sounded fine, no wierdness at all.
