I have to do a remote vocal recording with an Mbox 2 Pro, Distressor and C414 mic at my disposal. I've never used just an MBox for pre's, so I was wondering what everyone thought about that for a vocal chain?

Both units are brand new, housed in a brand new Funklogic rack. Compressor was used on two short sessions, limiter was never used. Looks perfect, sounds great.

I was wondering how many of you fed up with computers has gone the route of say....an analog mixer and a Tascam DA-38/88/78 configuration? I had a DA-78 a couple of years ago, which sounded great, and now I'm thinking of going back to an 8-track setup using a DA-78 along with my 8 channel tube mixer...

Will take a reasonable offer. *NOTE* Unit has some light scratches on the bottom....not visible unless turned over, obviously. Also, there's some occassional crackling on a fade...

Used for two years in smoke free studio. Works flawless, never had one problem. Looks like new except for the print on the "Stop", "Play" and "Record" buttons has worn down a bit from usage.

Comes with original box and one, unopened disc drive caddy, but no drives.
