Everyone who's donated these to us, thanks a million. I thought Christmas had past. And another thing, anyone who samples these drums and uses them...fucking sucks.

Re: BAE/API powersupply question
Just call em'. Avedis is the man and is nice as hell and will give you more than enough info in the design and the reasons for it. I love my BAE API pre's. I have the 6 space rack box and it's very nice and will hold the API 500 series modules as well as the OSA modules.

Re: Question for Deluxe Memory Man owners
I forgot to mention... If you want the best delay ever and will never go to a stomp box again, get a real Echoplex. You'll never go back. Yeah, they're old and big and require maintinence but they fucking rule and sound the best. Mine's an old tube EP-1 and I will never, ever NOT be using it. J.Soda

Re: Question for Deluxe Memory Man owners
I'm a guitar player and have gone through a long list of delays until I found the one I liked enough to keep and use. I dig the analog delays and won't use the digital ones. Call me a purist, snob or whatever. That's the way I do it. I'm not an expert on circuitry... The only bummer about these anal...

Re: FS:Rare AKG / Echolette Top 12 **D 12 made for Echolet
Chris, man please don't be pissed. You said that you'd buy it for that price but you would talk to me in a few days. I figured that you were definately interested but that you were going out of town for a few days and would decide in that time for sure and buy when you got back. I've sold lots of th...

FS:Rare AKG / Echolette Top 12 **D 12 made for Echolette
I'm selling one Echolette Top 12 microphone w/ original case and warranty card. This beautiful mic is essentially an AKG made D12 that was made for Echolette distrabution and called a Top 12. As you may know, Echolette had some excellent microphones back in the day that were made my Sennheiser, AKG ...

Re: Fender Champ
You will need to get a real Champ in your life and the sooner the better. There is a reason why everyone talks about the Champ. They fucking rule, end of story. We all know that or WILL know that sooner or later. Get a blackface or a tweed Champ as soon as you can so you can start recording it. They...

Re: best Rhodes option?
Just get a real Rhodes already. But get the suitcase model so you can have that rediculously beautiful ping/pong tremolo. Yeah, it may have one sound only and be a bit big but it will always be the real deal and people will love you and respect you for having the real deal.

Re: pink floyd live at pompeii what mics were used?
I haven't see the film in a couple months but I do own it and don't remember seeing any space shuttle. I do remember seeing the Mercury/Apollo rocket blasting off. That was 60's rocket footage. And yeah, I think those were the Sennheiser MD409's and not the Echollete versions. But hey, how about all...

Re: Classic marshall sounds (for recording)
First off, It's taken me a long time to get to the point where I'll run my amp on a very high volume level and use my volume knob on the guitar as a dynamic control. Attenuators suck IMO. I had the Z-Brake for about a day and then sold it on ebay. If I were you, I'd pull the 2 outer power tubes to c...

Dudes,
Don't ignore Tom Doud. Anyone see the documentary on him? I'm sure you all know already, god damn bad ass. The guy was using 8 track recorders 10 fucking years before Abby Road had em'. Great film.

Re: How big of difference between Oktava SDC and Neumann KM'
If you can you should try to check out the km84. I have never heard the km184's, but i do own a pair of the older km84's that i absolutely love. I did have to drop some dough to get them but it was worth it in the end. The KM84's are my ace in the pocket when it comes to snare/overhead drums and ac...
