Yeah, that was a good enough article that it would justify filling up The Tape Op Book 2: The Les Paul Transcriptions. Definitely my favorite one yet.

Yeah!!! That was high school. I forget what mic i used, some silver Shure dynamic with an on/off switch that was the same shape as a 58 pretty much, cost 80 bucks 11 years ago. Anyhoo, I used to use it to record jazz band concerts, and it sounded rules. I'll have to find some tapes. Also my first pr...

Things that use 6SN7GTB tubes?

So, I found some old tubes in my Grand mother's basement over thanks giving, all in boxes. Among them were 3 Channel Master 6SN7GTB's, from Good Housekeeping! So, they appear to be meant for use in TV sets. But according to Paul, a lot of audio products use them as well. The question is WHAT! Rather...

Time Out New York.

Other than that, just USTFTF for people you want to read more about.

I used to subscribe to mix, but it was too high end and had WAY too many adds.

I hate that guy, but there's a performance he does of it on The Old Grey Whistle Test DVD which I must admit is quite something. While most bands shorten their songs when they play them on TV, he made it twice as long. He switches between that synth, tom toms, and saxophone. It is rules.

I won a minimoog two years ago from one of those guys. Well, won a minimoog in theory. Kept trying to get me to wire him the money to europe, where he was away "buying gear on the cheap." I asked him for his US address and phone number, never gave it to me. And, so... I never sent him the money. Thi...

A word on molds and plugs... I talked to several people at AES, I didn't trust guys who were molding onsite, especially since they were trying to sell an herbal remedy for tenitus called RingStop!! I just went today to get molded for sensaphonics. They are much better made, and the audiologists who ...
