Yeah, mix down to cassette, then swap tapes.

I'm going to try to use it with out headphones a bit, and just play with induced bleeding.

I like the idea of just having a sticky appear in the MEGABOARD when a new post is added to the sticky. If that isn't possible I would leave the MB as it is now, w/o stickies.
Agreed 500%.

ATR has resolved their issues with their city, and should have tape out either Q4 this year or Q1 next year. Next year more has always been more likely, its coming soon.

As for the other 3, I didn't talk to them much. Isn't Q producing yet??? I'm still using off the stock I built last January.

He *did* lose one of his lungs, and he toured anyway. I saw him like three years ago. He had a great sound (cranked Marshall I think) , a young beautiful wife, and he made these indie art bands look like a bunch of poseurs - seriously, a great show. RIP, Link! Yeah, she kept coming on stage and wag...

my new recording setup

I am anxious to get started on a new album. I play every instrument myself, and am excited about my new recording set up: RCA 44BX ribbon microphone --> Ampex MX-10 which will soon have 6 EF86 tubes --> Tascam Portastudio 244 4 track cassette recorder. I have not yet decided which kind of cassettes ...

Re: Link Wray - Rest in peace

 Link Wray has passed. Anyone know about his gear? Seems I read somewhere he used Teisco and other crap guitars. 8) Any idea on his amp choices, and did he slash his speakers for more distortion? Anyway, he leaves behind cool tunes. Yeah, he used cheap, crappy equipment (from the 50's though),...

I'm going to 2nd the brick. I use it a lot for my bass. We use random $30 passive boxes at work, and they are fine.

I tried the new UA boxes at AES. They are REALLY GORGEOUS on guitar, but didn't sound very good on bass. They are also really expensive.

Mooger Fooger Delay

anyhoo, I tried it out yesterday. The delay is noisy!!! With the repeat signal comes noise. No way, jose. I mean, I expected something better for $700.
