Totally concur on the badass bridge, will really change/even out the sound of your bass over the stock bridge.

How's the summing on those Soundcraft or Seck mixers? Anyone using them for OTB mixing?

Looks pretty cool, anyone used a sytek w or w/o BB for summing makeup gain on this or the Folcrom? How's it work? I've got a Sytek, one channel of Great River and a Bellari pre. Damn.

I'm digging the Dynaudio BM5as, they were around 1k, and the bass was better than I expected.

I know the Distressor is much more flexible overall, in fact I have one and like it on most sources, but purely for vocals and maybe a smattering of bass and acoustic would you take a La3a over the Dist? Basically trying to decide whether to add another Dist or improve my vox chain via a La3a. Thanks.

Anyone used Josephson C42s as overheads? Been thinking of getting a pair for acoustic instruments but a nice pair of OH mics would be an added bonus.

Anyone compared the summing buss on the two? From Search it appears both leave a lot to be desired.

Thanks for the advice, I think I was getting caught up with the bells and whistles but that totally makes sense.

Asked this on the gear side as well but in your opinion what has a bigger impact in external summing, board or compressors/line amps/eqs.

Or in another way would you prefer to have a Ghost or 8 channels of Chandler/Great River/Distressors/Fatso into a Mackie for OTB summing?

If it is $600MM I'll gladly sell you my ADK TC for 1/2 that amount. Seriously though, it's a very good vocal mic for a mid priced tube condensor, if you're in or close to NYC a guy named Tim sells them factory direct on Craigslist.
