Thanks for the input. The only synth I currently own is a DX7. I've owned it for a few years now and love it...but I'm looking for something newer to add to my modest studio. I'm just looking for more sounds, I guess, with more polyphony...and I don't necessarily care about the natural piano sounds....

I'm shopping around for workstation right now...and I'm just wondering if anyone here has had experience using the Motif line, and if so, what that experience has been.
