Re: Tascam 388 Maintenance, Repair and FAQ thread

Glad it was an easy fix if that is all that was needed! ____________________________________ ..So now Rhett Shull has a video discussing Why The Tascam 388 is his Favorite Piece Of Gear . Which will surely lead to Rick Beato (taking a break from his stellar run of interviews) doing deep dives on var...

Re: vinyl collecting ( and surrounding planetary atmosphere )

Hi Nick, thanks for the idea. Its a good one and I'll keep that in mind.
We have really taken a liking to it as wall art though,
and my uncle's family approves as well so for the time being at least
it shall remain vertical.

Re: vinyl collecting ( and surrounding planetary atmosphere )

I'm not here on TOMB daily, sometimes not even weekly, and I can be pretty dozy and unobservant but, while reading everyone's music picks for 2023, I suddenly realized that @shedshrine was MIA, apparently has been since mid 2022. Did I miss something (hopefully nothing tragic!) or did he just move ...

Replaced but of course on these you lose all the patch memory. Had long ago lost the card that would restore the factory patches. Tried m...

Re: Latest gear you've acquired.....

Just bought a guitar for the first time in 10 years or so--a hardtail version of the Yamaha Revstar 502. So far it's nice--I think it'll find a comfortable spot in my relatively limited guitar arsenal. I have sworn off buying guitars for the time being, but did find myself checking out those Revsta...

Re: shedshrine build 3.0 - furniture, cats, gear, enlightenment, and yer mom, man

Well, it finally got to us. Five folks in our 12 person office out with covid. So far so good self-wise, I tell myself possibly partially because I walk from the train station, I walk around the nearby lagoon twice daily on breaks, and walk back to the rapid transit train station daily getting great...

I found 2 but couldn't seem to locate 3 and 4. Regardless, first two worth watching.

Re: vinyl collecting ( and surrounding planetary atmosphere )

well, you did have to send the film in to get it developed, (unless you had your own darkroom). I never heard of anyone getting busted for incriminating evidence reported from film development. Who knows, maybe it happened if your roll was particularly blatant/egregious? Totally different time. I do...
