They are great mics. I have a couple of solos to cut soon, I should remember how good they are on guitars for that date.

Re: Latest gear you've acquired.....

I have a bunch of acoustic gigs lately, so I've gotten both a DW foot tambourine, and a Meinl foot cabasa. Today's rehearsal will be the first time with both... I've also been known to take a loop of velcro and tie a few shakers around my ankle... those little foot tambourines are great though. I'v...

You can get "eyedropper" type bottles if DeOxit.

You could probably rent something from Blackbird. They have damn near everything.

Hey, look at this... The 57 frequency plot corresponds well with MSE's post. Who'd a thunk?

I use standard coat hook/key hook racks you can get at about any store...
I've got a couple of the wood 5 coat racks on the walls.

Re: Echoboy vs Echoboy jr

Get the full version. The Jr. is cool. I use it when I want something fast and basic, adding pre-delay to reverb sends, utilitarian stuff. The full version is insane though, and there are a TON of sick presets to get you moving. Definitely worth $49, by a lot. I was going to say something similar. ...

Re: policies on vax or non-vax

I should add that I go over the place with Clorox wipes after non vaxed people leave. Before the vaccine, I still taught privately and had a few 1-2 person things, and I wiped everything down after that. I also tried to space things out after having done that. Not having people in for a few days (mo...

Re: policies on vax or non-vax

I've been doing masked unless singing for a while. As more people are vaccinated, I'm going with CDC guidelines and if people are vaccinated, I'm not requiring masks. Working on a mix recently I wore mine (even though I'm vaccinated) because the client wasn't. Two bands of vaccinated folks have rehe...
