Blonde Redhead

So I don't know much about these guys, but recently heard a few of their tracks and am quite intrigued, mainly by the sound. I'm not sure I'm a huge fan of the songwriting, but am very intrigued from an engineering standpoint. Anyway, I'm gonna pick up one of their records and was wondering which on...

Well, I just emailed them moments ago about an album that came out about a month ago that they left me off, so I'll see how it goes. I did this once before and they fixed it within a week, I was quite impressed since I do seem to hear a lot of bitching about this. It was a major label album though(a...

Just record a measure of the click from the Boss, cut out an individual beep or click or whatever the sound is and paste it on the quarter notes(or 8th notes) of the grid, and if you set the tempo manually, in the tempo bar, they'll stick to the grid if you change tempos, just like the PT's click wo...

Mary Halvorson from Trevor Dunn's Trio Convulsant(and many other bands). Forget the fact that it's a female, thats some of my favorite guitar playing EVER.

Thanks, but thats not it. I'm looking for individual pins, like you woud use if you were stuffing an elco connector, but instead of being straight the pins themselves have a right angel, and aren't intended for any sort of connector, but soldered directy to a PCB. I can't even seem to find a picture...

Where to buy Varelco pins?

I'm looing for the right angle ones that you solder on to PCB's, but can't find anywhere online to buy them. I've tried digikey & mouser, along with googleing for too long, any other suggestions? I'm in LA, so if anyone knows anywhere local, that'd be cool too

Thanks

I'll second Joe Zook, very cool and extremely talented guy. Not sure what his rate is, but I'd guess it's pretty reasonable

I don't anything about Cubase, but I second Ref's notion that you should definately make separate sessions. Imagine how slow your computer's gonna run with a bunch of songs in one session. It'll probably be impossible to do any editing

If you dont want it to stop, hit shift apple L to make it loop. As long as you dont stop it it doesn't matter if it becomes unhighlighted, it will keep looping the selected region. So you can do editing, etc. while the loops still going, but once you click the cursor anywhere, then stop, your select...

Crazy, I searched for Scott 2 days ago and was about to post on this long dead topic myself. Anyway, I only recently discovered Scott, but the Drift blew me away. It's the most mind blowing/awe-inspiring/haunting abum I've heard in ages(maybe ever?). I coudn't even attempt to describe it, but my bro...

Yeah, I'm in, if I'm not working, but I'll be getting off by 10-11 for the next couple weeks I think, so as long as it's not an early thing I should be able to make it. Name the spot. I'd prefer Hollywood/Silverlake area(and could offer a bunch of suggestions if you're interested), but it seems like...

Punk band looking for gigs. Northern California/Oregon

So my roomates band, Battleflask, is going on a west coast tour early next month and looking to fill a couple dates due to some cancelations. They're a fast country/blues influenced punk band, who kick some serious ass and put on a great show. From there myspace: We need help for for the dates of ju...
