Re: For Trade: Oktava MK-319

Whatcha got? ... that's a tough one, cu...

... might be old news to folks on here from the NW, but two really good songwriters from here are Pete Krebs, and Damien Jurado. Pete's records " I Know it by Heart", and "Bittersweet Valentines" are about as good as it gets.

... any band who can sell 60,000 records should have a label that can pay you for your time now. 60,000 is a lot of records.

Re: Classic recordings that are out of tune

The Smiths' "Meat Is Murder" has some horrible vocal pitch problems. I'm not talking just a bum note here or there, but whole lines and phrases that are out of tune. i always thought was just morrisey's style... he always seemed to just kinda slide past the notes, and not really hold'em. i dig the ...

Love that Perfect Day recording. (OT: I like to play it back to back to Cat Power's Covers CD, and that Church VD, something Birds , also; some very interesting and well done interpretations by some cool bands.) If you like Dirt Floor , definitely check out his latest two records, with live recordi...

Kinda creepy, but it can be done. a reality show to replace michael hutchence... ian ashbury posing as jim morrison... really fkin embarassing... who's buying this crap? the ...
