I am pretty sure this on e is OK. Recorded some kick samples last night and some vocals for testing and she seems right-on from what I remember and what I can compare to on the internet. Sounds right compared to the coutant sample if I am off the mic about 3-5" and the gain is cranked up. Sounds lik...

me too. I have never used it as a vocal mic and I always thought my old one sounded good on kick but it never seemed to be over the top as far as low end goes....neither does this one and neither, it seems, does the sample on the coutant page.

D12 sound sample questions I have 7 days to return

So.... I just bought a D12 from evilbay and I have a 7 day window to return it. I have owned one in the past and it was a great microphone. I am comparing the sound of my current one and it sounds about how my last sounded (from memory) which I assumed was right....I also compared it to a D12 on the...

I've been moving pretty slow on this so no....no arm fatigue. Yet. As this really is not meant to be much of a commercial space I find myself getting sidetracked doing what I want to do in there and not what I need to do....writing and playing instead of painting and building....

sooooo....I'm building four more thingies (technical term) each measuring 4" x 30" and 3" deep (roxul) which will utilize the remainder of the second bag of safe-n-sound. So far... 2 bags of Roxul (12 batts each) made the 2 30" x 8' x 6" deep corner thingies (technical term) and will make the 4 more...

I think if it's an hustle I would try to fight paying shipping but if it's an honest mistake....well.... Just sometimes it's hard to tell. My favorite is "no way to test" so being sold as-is. That one always gets me. A stained shirt though......seems like an ass move on the seller's part. I would li...

TW...I agree on the fees being pretty high but I don't think there is another market that will give the exposure that ebay does. If you are willing to ship it...it truly is a world market. I horse trade a lot of gear...mostly low end stuff...thrift store finds etc. and if I buy right...I always seem...

Ha ha funny.....I sell quite a bit on ebay and just recently got my first negative feedback on a drum clamp that I had been using to mount some toms.. I stated in the ad that it would work with Gretsch drums (which it did...mine!). i sent it out and a few days later I checked my feedback and I had a...

The fact that this was a former cooler makes any extra holes a no-go unfortunately. My only option for a vent would be a hole in the (replaceable) door and some flexible vent pipe. It's honestly not that bad so far except on really hot days. I'm up in the mountains so are temps hover in the good zon...

It's not too bad but so far it's just been me fooling around and putting things together. Putting a full band in that cramped space will likely suck. The place is sol well insulated that even on a hot day it's pretty cool but adding bodies....well. There really is no way to add HVAC. I have a stand ...

Thanks SpaceEcho, I followed this guys awesome DIY on youtube (link below). The rear of the trap is made of 1x2 nailed and glued together on edge. 6" risers were cut from 1x2 and glued/nailed along the perimeter (special pattern on that for the face to lay on) The 1x2's on the bottom leave an overha...
