Thanks for all the input. I have tried it a couple different positions. I have put it just about 2inches in the sound hole and I have tried it about 2 inches of the head as well. Part of it may be the room as well. Thanks again.

Does anybody have any suggestions for getting good "Seperation" between tracks. I have talked to some people that say it is in how you mic and track everything. I know that you have to make some room in the mix by cutting some frequencies so that instruments aren't fighting in the mix. Any suggestio...

I have and Audix D6 Microphone that I use for kick drum. I am having trouble getting the attack that I feel that I should be getting without EQ. I have used the AKG D112 before and they just seem to pick up a lot more attack. Anybody have any suggestions for the D6 or should I just purchase a D112? ...
