FS: Roland Jupiter-6 Classic Analog Synth
All right guys, I think I'm finally going to do it. My Jupiter 6 is for sale, 1250$ + shipping. I thought I would post it in the hopes that it won't go to a moron. If you're looking at this then you already know what it is and I don't need to say a thing.

Re: FS: MOTU 828mkII complete with all cables and software $
I could give you 400$ for it. I know that's low, but I'm poor. ![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)
I also have some other equipment I could offer in trade (mics, pedals, etc.).
Anything you're interested in?

WTB: Dat Recorder
Looking for a DAT recorder for around 125$...
Don't care what make/model... just so long as it has a headphone jack, XLR outs, and is rack mountable.

Re: Compulsive Liars
The one I heard recently was a guy told me that he has sold 8 million copies of his records in total. As he told me this, I was wondering what the fuck is he sitting at my $35.00 an hour studio in FRESNO, CALIFORNIA!!!!!!!! This one I could see being true. The industry term for this phenomena is "c...

Re: does one really need a computer for making techno or nin
side question: When were Squarepusher all-analog? How so? Like in "modular synths - no digital sequencing" or like in "recorded to analog 2" " or like in "hand played synths overdubbed without the aid of digital tools" or like in "hardware sequencer, analog signal paths?" I'm sooo curious. What alb...

Re: Compulsive Liars
The best are those stories that sound like lies but turn out to be true... There's an engineer in my town that has a reputation of being an ass. I heard from a few people that he actually replaced EVERY kick drum track on a certain punk bands album because the drummer was so inconsistent. At first I...

Re: Midi, Logic, PC, Mac Question, Drum Programming Question
The problem with fruity loops (in the context of what you are doing) is that it sees each drum sound as it's own instrument, thus a different chanel. What you need to do is dabble in the scary world of GM - general MIDI. Pick up a program on the cheap that's got some built in GM support. It doesn't ...

Re: reccomend cheap/quality cd pressing place
http://www.diskfaktory.com/ does great short run cdr's on the cheap. quality is really great too- no blue bottoms here. basically if you're going to press under 1000 cd's, it makes a lot more sense to do cdr's.

The ubiquitous Oktava MK319 w/shockmount + hard case = 80$
The subject kind of sums it up here. I've got an Oktava MK-319 large diaphragm condenser mic, with the shockmount (a rip-off at 25$) and a hardcase. The newer ones all come with soft cases, so the hard case is a nice touch. I personally listened to 8 different mk319's before picking this one (they a...
