Im sure there is a better way of doing this, but instead of choosing the create track with next instrument option, choose the create multiple tracks and add in as many tracks as you need

The convertors are fantastic and the pres are very good though if you're recording a quiet source with low sensitivity mics and have to crank them they can get a little noisy.. I've had no problems with a "typical" band recording situation as the levels are usually plenty high enough. This is not an...

Just posted this on another topic, but I really love the Metric Halo stuff. Works flawlessly with Logic. The convertors are top notch and the pre's, especially on the ULN2, are fantastic.

Ill put in my 2 cents for the Metric Halo units, if you're going the laptop route. I have the 2 channel and the 8 channel units and they both sound amazingly good.
