Schematic for a Electro Harmonix linear power booster pedal.

Where can I get a schematic for a Electro Harmonix linear power booster pedal? I emailed EH, they have no schematics for their older units. I used this pedal when I was A teen and loved it. Unfortunately the 9volt. battery clip thing feel apart so I thought I would solder on a new one. Well I did no...

So are the Radial boxes an improvement to the Countryman? Or are they just different? Is the difference subtle or obvious? Can anyone give me any descriptions or comparisons on the subject. Maybe I'm over thinking the issue and should just buy one and use it. Reason for asking is in my last trip to ...

Is the Countryman type 85 direct still the 57 of D.I.s?

I need a D.I. or two. Most likely one passive and one active. Are there major sonic differences between the Countryman and lets say the Radial JDI passive? I was always under the impression that the Countryman was the industry standard, now I'm starting to see the Radial name more often in gear lists.

Would swapping out the tubes change the sound like changing the tubes on a the EH 12ay7 pre-amp thingy? Some how I have a feeling the change would be very subtle.

Re: Deltalab effectron overdriven settings

Are you guys mixing the delayed signal with the dry signal? If so how much of the delayed signal is in the mix? I can't seem to find the right delay setting when I do this, it sort of sounds out of phase unless it's like an echo slap back kind of thing. sometimes I pop out all the buttons and let it...

Deltalab effectron overdriven settings

I have read some posts on this board about overdriving this unit for vocals, are you people using it as an overdriven delay mixed in with the vocals or are you using it as the primary vocal track? Are you cranking the input gain all the way? Also any setting suggestions would be appreciated even if ...

Re: Opinions on Carvin gear

I love their x-100 and x-60 heads and combos. To me both channels are very useable, they go from a fender type sound all the way to a Marshall tone. May not have the best tone for Metal. Channel switching is very important to me and these amps rule for that, a lot of amps have one good channel and t...

Re: So what makes a compressor fast or slow electronically?

I was hopping that maybe there would be a couple of parts that could be upgraded, like when people replace the opamps in other economy gear. I liked this pro vla thing a lot when I first got it. Now when I'm using it in a final mix I started to notice it would let the first note slip by untill it cl...

So what makes a compressor fast or slow electronically?

So what makes a compressor fast or slow electronically? I have the Art pro vla, I really like the tone on this thing however it's pretty slow. Is this something that could be modded easily or would it be more trouble than it's worth (like putting turbo on a geo metro)? I am a home studio guy so lets...
